While at Petco...I know...to get cat food, my daughter notices a cage on the adoption table.  We go to look and find a mouse...without ears!!  She was too cute for words and I knew she would end up snake food by the end of the day.  You know the rest of the story, she comes home with us, of course!!

Her name is Snowball and she has settled in very nicely in my daughter's room, away from kitties and ratties.  She can hear us fine and is quite active.  On one side, you can see where her ear tried to form and the other side has nothing but a hole.  She has tuffs of fur where her ears would be.  She is just too cute for words.  So...without further hesitation, here is Snowball, modeling her new cube from Meg!!! She just loves her wheel too!

awwww what a sweet little girl. Watch out she could start a new trend in the rodent world. Ear cropping for mice. jk:doh:

She is adorable! I have a earless pygmy mouse, but it's because her cagemates chewed her ears off before I got her. Sad

oh my goodness!! She is so itty bitty!! What a sweet girl Smiley I can't believe she makes that cube look big, when I know first hand how small it was LOL. She looks very happy in her new home! I am so glad you rescued her.

Snowball is precious  Kiss  I have a soft spot for the special critters, which is why I picked out the hamster I have now, Jack!  He only has 3 legs!

it might have been a cage mate, or she could have had a realy bad infestation with mites or lice and scratched her ears off, I had a rescue mouse came in that was like that once. Good thing she has a great home now. Shaz
