They do the best they can, but they don't have anyone with small animal experience.  Like many shelters, they deal mostly with dogs and cats.  If anyone in the Roseville/Sacramento area is interested in Dwarf hamsters please check them out.

Do you know of anyone who would be interested in a few? or could you guys help us by passing the word?  We've had only one person interested in them since we've had to put all 15 up for adoption. That person adopted 2 we thought were males,... and returned to us the 6 babies the female had. Oops! But I can't sex those things and were are out of solutions. Any helpful advice would be great.

If they are friendly, I'll take three.
I have a little dwarf hamster (Pumpernickle) who is almost four and on her last days.
This is so depressing for my little sister and I, and I think it would be best if I had a few little guys for Emily (my lil sis) when Pumpernickle finally passes.
We've had her since she was just a pinkie, and I need a couple nice little guys to help take her place. (Though no one can replace you, Pumpy... Cry )
Would you be willing to travel?
I'm in Ripon, CA, but could bribe my mom with chores if you absolutely can't drive.

I don't have these animals.  They are at the SPCA.  You would need to go there in person to adopt.  www.placerspca.org
