The SPCA of Texas still has several Gerbils, Dwarf Hamsters & Mice for adoption from our rescue done earlier in the year.

At the McKinney Location, there are currently 5 male Gerbils available. The Downtown Dallas location does have some Gerbils left.  I don't know their colors/genders/personalities though.

Marshall #123 - Mufasa, Marshall #59 - Hiro, & Marshall #122 - Ando : All the same color, Colorpoint Sapphire, all male gerbils.  Adult age.  All Adopted.
Kovu : A Black Male Gerbil.  6 weeks old.
Simba : A Nutmeg Male Gerbil.  6 weeks old.

There are also 3 male Dwarf Hamsters.  They haven't been handled a whole lot and are best for families with older children.  They are all together and bonded as well. All Adopted

And we also have 7 5 mice currently available.  All are easily handled.

The pink-eyed one on the lower right.  Male adult mouse.

All adult mice, one in the middle is a female, rest male.  The Female has been adopted.  The one in the above picture has been living somewhat peacefully with the black one in this picture.

Pepe Le Pew - 2 month old Black & White mouse.  Med length fur.

Speedy Gonzalez - 2 month old perfect Black Eyed White.  Short fur.

Yosemite Sam & Wily Coyote - 2 month old Fawn mice. In the picture, the one of the left and the one on the right are available.  Med length fur.

This is only what's at the McKinney location that's off FM720 nearby Custer Road.  The downtown Dallas location also has a few small animals of the female variety looking for homes as well.  The adoption price is only $5 per critter, so consider us before you shop for one at Petco!

If you want any extra info about them, post here or PM me.  I cannot do critter trains though, so if you're in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, you'll hafta come to the shelter to adopt them... or send someone else up here to adopt & transport them to you.

Nope, I'm about 4 hrs north of ya in Dallas.  And I cannot personally adopt them and transport them down yer way.  Work would get a little suspicious if I started taking these critters after they all know I cannot bring them home per my mom's rules.  Plus there's that thing in our contract that says a person cannot give them away to someone else after adopting.  Work would know I'm breaking that contract then.

However, if you can find someone in this area who could adopt and critter train them down to ya, sure!

We've just added 6 male mice to the mixture as well!  They're about 4 weeks old.  I had to hold off on posting them till I could double check and be 100% sure of their genders.

3 are orange selfs with varying white.  One has a lightening blaze, another a stripe across his shoulders, another just a tiny bit on his back.  They're all medium fur length.

1 is white with black splotch on his head and butt, medium fur length.

1 is black with white stripes across his face, sides and belly, medium fur length.

And the last one is a perfect Black Eyed White, short fur length.

Their photos should be available late Wednesday, early Thursday.

I've once again updated the info.  We have only 5 mice leftover, all males.  I'm leaving this job on the 24th of June, so I won't be able to watch over them anymore.  We also have a fair amount of rabbits for adoption that came through a rescue of sorts.
