I have had mice before but I am planning on getting at least a colony of six mice. My question though is if I have enough cage to have more than 6. This is most of the stuff I have. Although I do have more tubing and I think I have 3 more 'attics' that I can add to it.

I can easily mouse proof the wire parts of the cages as we had to do it before with our last lot. There are 4 water bottles on it as it is and I have 2 more I can add on if need be. There are 2 wheels that are inside 2 of the round units (1 in each of the 2), but I can always add more. They will be getting the whole lot of this unlike my ones before that I gave half and half to (male and 2 females). Would you be okay with putting at least 6 if not up to 10 mice in that?
Thank you.
P.S sorry about the mess around it.

Woah.  That's quite a set up.  I'm not sure how many you could put in there, but all I can think of is how hard it'll be to clean with all those tubes

There is a mouse cage calculator on thefunmouse.com that you can try.

Lol yes it can be rather difficult to clean. However I adore this set up as I believe it's more suited to their natural habitat. That and I can rearange it to make there natural instincts work that way to. The girls we used to have didn't make to much mess in the tubes. The male we used to have used the tubes as a bed or toilet depending on where they were in the set up  .
I'm not sure how to use that calculator with the how the units are?? I mean the triangle ones should I measure them to volume and use that and do the same with the round units and add them up? It could be rather difficult to work out but possible. I'll go and try that I suppose.

Although I personally don't prefer those type of cages because they don't provide lots of ventilation but as far as space goes that DEFINITELY seems big enough heh. It's a pretty neat looking set up.

It's good to know that people think it should be enough room for them all. I have to say that I've never had any problems with the ventilation of this cage type yet. None of my previous 3 had breathing problems or anything. They only managed to live till just over 1 years old mind. My girls got lumps (one had it in an area that could be operated on but it came back with vengence and my other girl had it in a place that could not be operated on. We left them till we could not bare to see them like it and before they became painful for them) and my boy lost the use of his back legs, wasn't fighting to live through it (not eating or drinking even though we tried to get him to) and I could see that it was best to unfortunatly put him to sleep also.

We haven't got our mice yet as our living room is still being sorted out (nearly there now though) and so we do not have the room for them as of yet. I still can not wait though. This is what I get like thinking about getting them Hyper hehe. I've had to pack up the cages and put them in my storage area for the time being Sad . I'm hoping they will be out again before the end of July lol.

Thank you everyone for your help.

I can't offer an opinion on how many mice that would fit, but I have to say that looks like one awesome setup, and it looks like it'll be a blast for your mice. I don't envy you having to clean it though =P
