I have a cage that is 24 inches wide and 27 inches in length. I think. It may be a tiny bit bigger tho.
How many female mice can fit in there? I wanted to get 3-5 but I'm not sure if thats big enough.

I've seen ppl putting material type items in their mice's cage. Do they chew it much? Is it dangerous if they do chew the material?

The bar spacing in my wire cage is not even 1/2 an inch- its that tiny notch in a ruler before the half inch mark- but could a mouse slip through that? The mice I'll be getting will be 1-2 months old.

If they can get thru the bars I'll make a bin cage for them I suppose. Is there any nice big bins that I could buy online? I'm not really sure how to tell how big it should be because they usually just tell many liters the bin is but the space could mostly be in length, which is what it usually is  Roll Eyes

I would only keep 3 in that cage. They might be able to get through that space so I would probably go with the bin cage until they're full grown.
