Finally after a year of being unemployed, I have a job interview! I'm so excited to have something to do again. The job is at a hardware store as a cashier. Wish me luck!

So I went yesterday. I believe that I made a good impression. The hours that they wanted me to work perfectly correspond to what I wanted to work! They haven't given me an answer yet but I hope I proved that I can certainly be friendly! (I was all smiles) I'll be waiting 7-10 days for their answer maybe sooner. Who know?

It might be running a little late now, but just writing a general thank-you to the store would make a good impression. A manager that sees an interviewee taking a real interest in the job might find that candidate more suited to the position Also it never hurts to call in a few days to see what the status of your interview is.
