I feel the need to share something random with you, so I decided to make a thread dedicated to the posting of random tidbits that don't really deserve their own thread.

Mine:
I was just "interrogated" by a secret agent of the FBI. Dead serious. He apparantly came in to my office yesterday looking for my boss to ask him questions about a client and left his card since my boss wasn't here. So he came in again today looking for him and started asking me if he would be in tomorrow, if I knew why he ddn't return the agent's message and phone call. I mean, it wasn't a real interrogation, but it was enough to spice up my afternoon a little bit. I don't think I've had a conversation with the FBI before. LOL!

But... but what shady dealings is this client (and your boss???) conducting, I wonder?  Have you seen your boss since the FBI agent showed up?  LOL... that definitely is a little bit of intrigue in the workplace.   glasses7

A random fact about myself...  I really, really like novelty bands and/or funny songs.  Stuff like Dr. Demento albums and Weird Al, Tenacious D, Richard Cheese, Strong Bad Sings, and most recently The Flight of the Conchords...  I think my fiance gets tired of listening to my iPod in the car, because there's never enough 'normal' music.  I'm very much the same way with movies and TV... I would much prefer some type of comedy over a drama.  I guess I'm just easily amused and never, ever get tired of listening to funny stuff.

Meh, I don't really think it's anything too big. The office I work in on campus deals with counseling and education of people who have recieved underage drinking violations and drug violations. It's probably something to do with drugs, as I can't imagine why the FBI would be interested in a college kid with an underage. Who knows? All I know is he interrupted me while watching Ratatouille (which I found on Youtube). I love Fridays in the office. There's no work to do and I get paid to sit here for 3 1/2 and wait for someone to show up  Smiley

I have 6 shifts left before I am done working retail! WOO! Unfortunately, one of those shifts is Black Friday, but whatcha gonna do? Heh.

Lately, when I get a song in my head that annoys me, I start singing "Raisins" by Barenaked Ladies to myself. It makes the bad music go away.

My random thing:

I am currently wearing film handling gloves because it is so freaking cold in my projection booth. They are like archiving gloves, thin and lint free cotton. You usually only wear them when you build a print, but I'm wearing them to keep my fingers working. We don't run the heater because heat+dry air=static, which is really really really bad for film. Well, I'll amend that. Not bad for the film, but bad for ME, because it makes the film stick to itself. Terrible things happen after that.  Shocked So in the summer, we have AC full blast. In the winter, we just don't turn on the heat.

It's hard to thread projectors when your fingers are frozen!! BRRRRRRRRRR!

Today I was making a salty dog cocktail for me and my husband and I was talking on the phone to my friend and I forgot to hold the lid down on the shaker and soaked the entire right side of my head with a salty dog. Smiley

My boss and I were both suffering from the winter blahs so bad that we blew off working altogether and toured every pet store in town and mostly drooled over fish (most of which we can't have). Today, for the first time in my life I saw: a beautiful pure yellow betta  Shocked, and my very first in-person seahorses.  I'm in lurv.  I introduced my boss to her very first mandarin goby, we played hide and seek with him for a while, they look so smart and comical.  I swear he giggled at us  Yellow Cute Laugh

I love the randomness  Yellow Cute Laugh

My random fact.... next Wednesday, I'm flying back to Canada to visit my BEST friend! We lived a few houses down for 5 years, about 4 years ago, and have visited each other every few monthes all for years. Now that I'm in NC, it's a longer trip but worth it! We've both been counting down on our facebook status since about 8 weeks, so it's amazing that it's so close!

I have to go to a "romance" party tomorrow night. That in itself isn't so bad, except for the fact that my Mother in Law is hosting it Can we say slightly awkward?

Last night my son let a strange cat in the house to give him some food and now he won't leave!  After my son fed him he put him in our spare room (with a litter box, food and water) and closed the door so he wouldn't fight with our cat, Izzy.  Then in the morning we tried to put him out and he wouldn't have it.  Fought to get back in the house and ran up to the guest room.  We tried again when I got home, same thing.  So now we have a strange cat living in our guest room.  He stays in there even though the door is open now.  I've got FOUND ads posted in Craigslist and Kijiji & the Buy & Sell.  Tomorrow I'm going to take him to the SPCA to see if he has a chip or has been reported lost.  Something tells me I've got myself a new pet cat.  I'm sure my vet will be thrilled to know that she gets to collect the money for a check up, shots and neuter.

Lol Popcorn! That sounds like something Id pull on my parents. : D

Anyways.

I NEVER BUY ANYTHING USEFUUUUL!
O_O I don't know how I do it, but I do!I will go into a store, look around, buy something completely random and then never touch it again or get rid of it. XD I'm such a pack rat. Then I lose the thing and find it several months later going "What the bajeebus?". XD I dont know HOW or WHY I do it. Like this one time, I walked into a book store intending to buy a manga and walked out with a beginners belly dancing book. LOL!! XD
