My last name is Burgess. Not that hard, right? It's historical, literary, you'd think someone would have heard the name before. Apparently not. I get it with a hard 'g' a LOT. Amazingly enough, the worse mispronunciation ever came from my high school American history teacher... Bur-'zheeze. I can't even fathom.

I was listening to an ebook while laying on the bed in the spareroom where Azis's cage is, and since he was free roaming, I often felt him try to get under my head.

but then he comes up and pries my mouth open and starts nibbling on my teeth before giving up the hope that they are food, and instead starts polishing them with his tongue.  It was then I started laughing, and scared the poor bub away.

Graaa, he is quickly becoming my heart rat <3

Ok, this is not an easy task but I'm really hoping for a miracle!

There's a group of 4 that we're hoping to find a home for - Together! Unfortunately they have quite a few strikes against them in most people's books:
a) There's 4 of them
b) 3 have pink eyes
c) 3 of them look almost identical
d) They are older. Best guess is around 1 1/2 yrs

I considered splitting them up but after having them here now and seeing how close they are, I really don't want to do that. I know they would suffer if we split them up.

John, Paul, Ringo and Bob are 4 big adult squishy older gentlemen that were surrendered to a shelter in the interior. We don't know anything about their past.

There is one beige hooded boy and 3 Himis boys. They all have beautiful curly coats.

All 4 are mellow, sweet and outgoing. They can easily be picked up and enjoy scritchies. They are just a joy to have here.

They are very much bonded and we're hoping somebody will adopt them all together!

Of course they have it good here... cupcakes (on special occasions like today) and all... But a forever home is always so much better  Cheesy

They are with Little Mischief Rescue in Vancouver, BC - http://www.littlemischiefrescue.org
Please note - We have a extensive screening process and only the best homes are good enough. We are open for adoptions in BC, WA and OR and in most cases can help with transport at least part ways.

No english speaking person has ever pronounced my real name properly.  (My real first name is Anke.)  I don't think it's hard to pronounce at all, as far as I'm concerned it's linguistic laziness, people just couldn't be bothered.  It ticked me off to the point where I actually changed my name!  (Now I'm Elizabeth.)  And I don't even bother saying my last name - I just spell it.

Names I've had written on Starbuck's cups:

Don
Dan
Daun
Done

LMAO! I don't think I would respond to someone calling out "DAN! Dan your coffee's ready!" And Done? For real? Those people need to take a second more and make it readable if it's that bad.

My last name everyone screws up. It's Quesenberry. I've had, at worst, Queensburger. Usually only slight variances but that was the worst. I hate having to spell it everytime though. When people ask for my last name I'm to the point I just spell it instead of saying it and then seeing the look on their face.
