Title: Pet shop had himilayan dumbos!! in Maine! Post by: SonyaFancifulRats on April 17, 2002, 06:26:46 AM I was wasting time yesterday, hoping my 16 month old (human baby) would get tired enough to nap so I went to "Pet Quarters" a Maine chain and they had some male rats, I looked and looked and sure enough they had dumbo ears, I thought they were PEW, but I had the clerk wake them up and saw little smudges of color on noses and a hint at the tail bases.
I have never seen a Dumbo in person. The clerk said someone local breeds them. I am shocked that there is a ' breeder' near me that has these fairly exotic types and doesn't post online! I've never seen a Himalayan dumbo but they sound beautiful :-*
