Title: Looking for 2-3 *Males* in Baltimore area Post by: dogboy83 on May 09, 2008, 01:01:59 PM Hello,
My roommate at college brought 2 older rescued male rats with her to school last fall. One of them has recently died after a struggle with a tumor =(. He was a great big blue dumbo and sweet as pie, he would roll over and let me scratch his belly, and lick my hand. Now only the crazy albino is left and we are worried he will become very lonely. I had no idea how attached I had become to rats!!! Anyway, we are looking to get 2-3 more male rats as companions to the albino that is left (not sure of his exact age, at least 18 months). We live in an apartment, and will be for a while, so a dog is out of the question (I like dogs too). We'd like to get at least 1 dumbo because they seem to be the sweetest and cutest! I've tried looking at ratteries online around here but the majority of the webpages are all broken links. If anyone knows of an ACTIVE rattery around Baltimore, or has some male ratties for adoption please let me know. Thanks! Try going to smalangelsrescue.org. I have adopted from them and they are awesome. They are based in Frederick but sometimes transportation can be arranged. There are quite a few of us on here from the Baltimore area. I live in Parkville. We have a local meetup group that gets together every month or so. PM me if you are interested. Unsure about all our sexes right now, but there are 13 pups total, so there'd definitely be some to choose from, they'll be ready around the 1st weeks of June. I live in Harford County, MD.
