Title: 4 young rats - Adopted thanks to Any Rat Rescue! Post by: Wolf on June 13, 2008, 07:58:22 PM Hello everyone. I have four young rats that I am looking to find homes for. They came from a wildlife sanctuary that was going to euthanize them due to lack of space. (They breed rats for food for their raptors.) I was asked if I wanted to take them instead of them being euthanized, and of course I couldn't turn them down. Problem is, I have six rats of my own and no time or space for four more. So I was hoping to find homes for them.
My guess is they are about 3 months old, maybe a bit older, but still young. I've had them for close to 2 months now, and they seem really healthy. They were all a bit timid when I got them, but they are warming up quickly and now love taking treats and giving kisses. There are two girls and two boys, and I would like to adopt them out in pairs. I am currently living in Flagstaff, AZ, but I can get to Phoenix easily. If anyone is looking for rats in these areas, or is willing to come pick them up, I know these guys will make great pets! They are already really sweet and loving. Here are pictures of them. The first two are the girls. The last two are the boys.
