Title: Help me out, please. Dayton, Ohio.
Post by: NightmareWolfie1 on June 18, 2008, 11:57:05 AM
I'm having a lot of problems at home.
Due to that (And parents.), and moving, and other things, I have to rehome most of my animals.
The only ones that can stay with me are my puppy, and a cage of mice, rats, and guinea pigs.
And the guinea pigs have to stay with a friend for a while.
I have female rats, and young males who need homes. Only my big boys are going to be staying with me.
I'll make a list of them. If anyone is interested, PM me, or reply here to ask questions.
They're all in good health.
Some HAVE been treated for URIs in the past.
They are very sweet, though may need some work as I haven't been home a lot lately.
They get free range time and such, just not as much interaction as they are used to.
I don't want to do this.
I love them very very much.
But I want to be fair to them. And it isn't fair to them if I can't give them all the attention they need.

Here's the list needing homes.

Females:

Cirrus- Himi rex   (Very sweet. Had her since she was ittle, she's a climber.) 4months approx
Suki- mismarked BEW (Crazy little girl. An escape artist, very very pretty. Curious.) 4months approx
Sandy- Fawn (Very pretty coloring. Sweet. Calmer than the other gals.) 4months approx
Tsunade- Beige (Still has her baby hyperness. But will make a great girl as she gets older. ) 3months
Maple- Cin. hoodie rex (Very sweet, licky girl. Inquisitive, very smart.) 9 months approx? (She was dumped at my house with Syrup& Stitch)
Syrup- Cinnamon rex (Very sweet, licky. Cuddlebug.) 9months approx?
Stitch- Unusual blue berk. rex (VERY LICKY! Sweet, calm, cuddlebug and shoulder extroidinaire.) 9months approx?
Lucy- PEW (Very bonded with Nala. Sweet, sort of high strung, but good girl.) 5months.
Nala- Black hoody (Lucy's partner. Sweet, relatively calm.) 5months
Lexie- Minky hooding girl with blaze dumbo. ( ADORABLE! Sweet. ) 5months
Tasha- Siamese dumbo ( Skittish, needs some work, but has a lot of potential. Very cute.) 5months.
Sarabi- Blue cap(Sweetie. Loves to brux and boggle and get scritches.) 8months
Kiara- Light agouti varigated. (A teeny bit cage aggressive, but is getting much better. Otherwise very sweet out of cage.) 8months
Kintou- Agouti hooded (Cage aggressive. Not for the beginner rat handler. LOVES other rats. )

Boys:

Uno- Black rex  (Very cute. Love attention. His twin is Duo. They LOVE people) 3months
Duo- Black rex  (Adorable. Loves attention. His twin is Uno. Also loves people.) 3months
Butsfer- Pearl? Blue? Merle? rex (Has a weird coat. Very cute. Loveable. BIG baby. Total squish to be.) 4months
Kayden- Cin. hoody w/high white blaze, stripe under chin. dumbo (Friendly, cute, young.) 2months
Gabriel- Black berk dumbo (Cutest face you'll ever see. Sweet.) 2months
Ox- Blakc hoody w/ weird white markings ( Adorable. Friendly. ) 3months

If you want pics, ask for which rattie's pic. It's hard to get them to hold still. Lol. They're all young, so they always have something else to sniff.
If you are interested, I'd also like t know what cage you'd keep them in, and be sure that you have an exotics vet. I'd prefer you adopt in pairs, but if you have rats at home, you can adopt alone.
I also have some other animals that need homes. I'll go ahead and list them to see if anyone is interested.

Cocoa- Broken chocolate mouse (He's a young guy. VERY sweet. Loves to sit in your hand, or explore shoulders, etc. He's a big baby.)
Phitz- Dark Eyed Honey (DEH) gerbil (He's amazing. Kinda pudgey and adorable. Never had any health problems. Love hay in his cage to make exlaborate nests. He's a great guy.)
Mimi- Broken red/black agouti White Crested Guinea Pig (This breed is becoming harder and harder to find. This girl is pedigreed and has been bred before. She's a total sweetie, and ADORABLE to boot. She's from the Toons' line. A very good girl. Her only fault is she has no full crest, and a slight hint of angel wings. I don't want her to be bred again unless it's an experienced breeder (She wasn't bred by me originally.).)
Creampuff- Grey mottled dwarf hammy (CAge aggressive but a HUGE softie out of the cage. He's a lover.)
Soy and Tofu- Small Ecquidorian hermit crabs. (I love these guys, and may end up taking them with me.)

Thank you all for reading. <3

I was curious as to how long you had to rehome them. I'm not 100% sure if I'm ready to adopt new rats, but for some reason I felt like I needed to respond.
