Title: Rat Train help. OH-NY Post by: NightmareWolfie1 on June 25, 2008, 03:16:43 PM I'm not sure how Rat Trains get started, or what really happens.
But me and Quinchilla need a train from Dayton, Ohio to NYC. I have to rehome nearly all of my animals, and she's taking three rattie boys. I'm not quite sure how to go about this. Can anyone help? Title: Re: Rat Train help. OH-NY Post by: wickedrodent on June 25, 2008, 03:44:06 PM Unfortunatly, Im in the wrong direction but I can offer a bit of advice..
I find it best to make a semi-map plan out. City ---> City and so on. That way people can see what states are needed and help out. Title: Re: Rat Train help. OH-NY Post by: turbosquabbit on June 26, 2008, 05:40:18 PM My boyfriend and I might be able to help. We live in Columbus, OH, so you're coming right through our neighborhood. (He's the one who would be driving, and "might" was his wording.)

I kind of need help figuring out how to do this whole thing. I dunno how to make elgs of the trip and stuff. I'm terrible with directions. As soon as I get it sorted, I'll let you know. Or PM Quinnchilla. That's who these boys are going to. Title: Re: Rat Train help. OH-NY Post by: turbosquabbit on June 26, 2008, 06:13:00 PM I don't know if you've already done this, but I used google maps to find out that I was on the way. http://maps.google.com/ (http://maps.google.com/) For some weird reason, it only let me paste the map of how to get from Dayton to Columbus when I tried to post the map earlier, but you only have to enter Dayton, OH, as your starting point and New York City, New York, as your end point.
Edit: I've never done this before, either, but I think an example of how it could work would be if: You drive them to Columbus, where we'd pick them up. Say another rat person happens to live around Wheeling, West Virginia. We'd drive them there. The new person could drive them to around Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and then the last person could drive them from Harrisburg to NYC. (I'm just picking the examples of the cities that sit on the most direct route between Dayton and NYC.) Title: Re: Rat Train help. OH-NY Post by: RatStars on June 26, 2008, 07:33:15 PM I don't know that I would be much help because I'm actually in Dayton, OH but if there is anything you need here, let me know. :D
