Title: tumor on a young rat? Post by: Ratlovingkippy06 on July 18, 2008, 11:32:38 PM I took in a Dumbo blue Rex baby a few months ago and he was nice and healthy till now. I guess i wasn't looking for this so maybe that is why i missed it, but things have been crazy which makes me feel worse. I pulled Remy out to say hi and he had a solid mass on his jaw that i have never saw before. I was trying to feel around it and it is a solid mass. Romeo ( older male in different group) is on baytil for an infection but this mass feel different. Rather than being a absences which i wish it was but its looking nothing like one because of how solid it is and the location. How can a rat soo young that is male have a tumor already>? :puppy_dog_eyes: any ideas.. I work at a vet office so i am going to talk to the doctor but i was just wondering what the odds were that such a young rat would have a life threating tumor this young.
