Title: Do people still participate in transports? Post by: teppuM on August 12, 2008, 10:30:59 AM I'm pondering getting new rats and there's a rescue in South Dakota that has three blackie-brownie brothers that i've fallen in love with. =p Thanks to the car accident, I am carless for the moment (not a worry, locally, though since there's a vet I could walk to, and i should be able to get a new car fairly soon, i just can't walk to south dakota!)
and i was wondering if people still do transports? Title: Re: Do people still participate in transports? Post by: KoalaLou2 on August 12, 2008, 12:24:34 PM People do still do transports. Mostly it when one area has a large influx of homeless rats (such as a hoarder being seized). People may be able to help you. Post with your location and the location of the rats and how far you would be able to travel. Try to get a ride from someone as far as you can.
I think I saw that you're in Omaha, NE? Have you looked into Capital City Rat Rescue? They are here on the board and often have posts in the adoption section (and of course have a website). They are really close to you and may be willing to bring them over to Omaha. Title: Re: Do people still participate in transports?
