My dad's first reaction was "Rats are gross and ugly!" So I'm trying to convince him otherwise :P I would love some adorable, cuddly rat pictures! :yelcutelaugh: Thanks!

I have the cutest rats in the world (though I am biased) but my boyfriend still finds them ugly. He doesn't hate them or anything, they're just not his thing, and he finds them to be physically repulsive, while I on the other hand, personally feel that they are aesthetically pleasing. While it's possible to change your dad's mind, some people are just that way.
ETA --- After I typed the above, I asked my BF if he thought any of my rats were "cute", and if so, which one was the cutest. He's a big fat mooosh ball. when you hold him and you let him go (most rats hold on and grab) he just lets go and doesn't care. he can fall to his death and not even care. he's so fat I'm not sure that he could even if he tried.
