Title: Young Male at ARL in Boston, MA Post by: galejade on April 30, 2003, 09:16:47 PM I just was at Animal Rescue League in downtown Boston for a vet appointment for Dwayne, the male I adopted there about a month ago and one of his brothers is still there, all by himself :'(!. After the woman, remembering me from Dwayne's adoption, asked me if I wanted another rat, I told her I'd talk up this boy here.
He's a agouti hooded big boy, of questionable age (he and his two brothers were 5 mo. when they were brought in, but I'm not sure how long ago that was...). If he is anything like his brother, and seems to be, he is a very sweet, easy going boy who just wants a warm shoulder to sit on and some good food. I'd adopt hm myself if I could but I just don't have the room for another right now... Anyway, I'm not sure how much longer they can hold him, even though they hold the small animals as long as they can. I don't think there is much of a demand for rats. But if anyone is looking for a really sweet boy, (who can be neutered for only $40 w/ adoption, incidently), I highly recommend him! P.S. Here is a picture of the handsome guy: http://www.petfinder.org/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=1358802&adTarget=468petsgeneral&SessionID=3eb093b941a0505f-app1&display=&preview=1&row=25 (http://www.petfinder.org/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=1358802&adTarget=468petsgeneral&SessionID=3eb093b941a0505f-app1&display=&preview=1&row=25) |
