Rats are truely a girls best friend!

Yesterday MR Neffertiti had a litter of 6 big babies!  All have the 'minkie' red eyes so should all be mink, mink dilutes and pearl!  (maybe other mink based colors in there as Grandpa was a platnium and parents may carry lots of cool recessives!)  Fingers are crossed Neffi carries dumbo- otherwise I'll just have a litter of merle dumbo carriers.  Both parents are BEAUTIFUL and come from great well known lines so babies will be the same Smiley

I'm so excited as I've been waiting for this litter a few months now Smiley  This is my first litter since Feb with my 'Staples' litter.

MR Raiden and Neffi are both very proud parents and Neffi is exceptionally enjoying her 'out' time (I thought the "Get me out of here" phase wasn't for another few weeks *G*) and Raiden has passed the cigars throughout the boys cage!

Just had to post this brag since I'm feeling a bit better. The other day I was attacked by a rat (LITERALLY!!!!), was bit 4 times- twice going THROUGH my finger.  I may have permant damage to my fingers mobility- but luckly it's my right hand (I'm a lefty) and I'm still able to sculpt!  The Dr said I will have a REALLY nice scarring though LOL  Lets just say I'm making good use of my $83 worth of drugs *sigh*  (This is the girl who only uses over the counter pain drugs when she's about to die of pain!  LOL)

Take care everyone!  Pics will be coming as soon as I see markings and get an idea of colors.  I'm such a proud Gramma!  (Geesh I'm too YOUNG to be a Gramma!  *L*)  We're also getting ready to breed a couple more litters to have in time for Ratapoloza in WA, and the Oct RMHS show in CA.  (A masked litter, and a blazed mink/pearl and dumbo litter)
