I was cleaning out the fridge and found some left over easter eggs. . .

I tossed one in the girls' cage and you would have thought it was crack. They went nuts. It was hilarious watching them tear the shell open and dig out the good stuff -- not to mention watching one of them carry the thing around the cage. Probably weighs about the same as they do.

Eggs are a rattie favorite, that's for sure... I haven't gone the hard-boiled egg route, but scrambled eggs are a big hit in this house!

Try giving them quiche! Just like an omelette, but 4 times the fat= rats like it even more!
