Hey Everyone-
As you all know I run Second Star Rat Rescue. I also volunteer at PAWS Animal Shelter. They had rats left at their door. They are now at AWL> There are 7 girls and 2 males. The males are both black hoodeds or varigateds. The girls are all very pretty. Please help adopt these ratties.

Hey Everyone,

Here's a little more info I told Lisa I'd post for her tonight....

Originally there were 12 rats left on PAWS doorstep with a note saying her rat had babies but she didn't want the babies to be feeders. A few of the females were adopted and one of the males had to be put to sleep because of being very ill.

There are still 7 females and 2 males needing homes.  The 2 males are black hooded or variegated.  The females are agouti hooded, black hooded, one fawn and two blue/russian blue(?!) berkshires. The last two are dark grey. All are standard ear and fur.

They are currently at AWL in Chicago Ridge, IL. For more info on address/directions/contact information please visit www.animalwelfareleague.com

I'm going to see if I can go and visit them this weekend, bring a little food or something.

As always, if you already have rats please quarantine any new rats in a separate building for 3 weeks before letting them set foot in your home.
