I have never posted here but have read alot. I have learned alot from you guys over the past 6 months!
I have 2 adult male hooded rats, one gray, one tan, born March 21, 2003. I got these from an individual that raises rats, not a pet store. They have been lovingly raised on the Sue Bee diet:)
They are very sweet, social guys. I really love them, but my hubby and kids are suddenly freaked out because they are so big now. They will have nothing to do with them.
Don't even want me to take them out of the cage if they are home. Plus now I feel like they need a larger cage since they are not little babies anymore.
Anyway, I have agreed to let them go but only to a good home. They are free, of course, and cage/accessories come with them if you want them. I can deliver in the Phoenix area too.
Please email me if you would like them, or know someone who does. I am sad about loosing them but I know it's the best thing for all of us.
