Michigan Dumbos

I have babies that were born on April 18th. . They are all dumbo’s but not sure of the breed- I know that some are rexes and they are black and some are also chocolate with white tummies and I have a few dark grayish silver color- they are the cutest little things that I have ever seen. I was going to keep them myself but this is simply not realistic. They will only go as same sex pairs unless you already have some one that needs a friend or cage mate- they will be ready soon in a few weeks they are very sweet- mother is on premises- and she is just a doll- wonderful homes only please!!
Thanks-

I live near Port Huron- I will deliver them to you-( I feel better about it) but you are more than welcome to come and take your pick and then I will bring them once they are weened- they are very cute I think they may be blue some of them but not sure- new at all of this

How exciting! What is your adoption fee? I will need a female, preferably the most social on that you have (if you are willing to give it up)! My girls have a 4x2.5 ft cage arriving soon and would love to share it with one more. If you have any available pics, I would very much appreciate it if you would send them to me at Lei_squared@yahoo.com
thanks and happy ratting!

P.S. how long until they can go?

One more thing, if you are looking to introduce new stock into your rattery, or maybe just take on one more pet, I have 11 rescued rats that desperatly need a place to call home! I can send you pics too.
let me know what you think,

hello how are you? glad to hear you are intereted in my little darlings- they are all very sociable- I have 3 femals that I would like to find homes for and 7 males- as far as bringing anymore into my home I dont think I really need anymore until I can have more space for them- can I ask a question without you getting offended? k here it goes- if you have 11 that you need to find families for then why are you looking for another? I am just wondering- If you would like to see them you may do so- you may come over and look that is fine with me- but if you would not mind I would like to see the home in which they will be staying? so maybe I could drop by and take a look- as far as the price goes I am not in this for money at all I do not know what a fair price would be- I am not going to say that they are free because I have read that this is not a good idea- my only requirement is that they be love and taken care of- they are in the prossess of being weened and I am suplementing with formula and mom at the same time- they are 4 weeks today and eating some solids- so by next week they should be done with mom- I play and hold them everyday all day- so they are very sweet- so the one you want is entirely up to you she has to match you- but you can aragnge an apointment with me if you would like-

I will look on my calender to see what time would be best for an appt. And to answer your question about the 11 (which 2 males have found homes making it 9), I had some prospects that I knew would take a few. I have wanted a Dumbo for as long as I have been into rats and I figured by the time yours were weaned, I would have adopted out many if not most of the 11 rescued rats. The person taking the 2 males is interested in possibly another male cage mate for them, but needs a bigger tank. There is also another person interested in a female and one of my friends is taking a same sex pair. Once the population is parred down a bit, I plan to do some cage rearranging: the girls (hopefully with one of yours) in the four story custom cage, 2 of my boys in a 40 long tank, and the other pair in the same size. I hope that you find my home appealling:) Will email you with appt. dates!

There is only 9 because I am keeping a few but I do have a lot that do need good homes!! I will be willing to sell to your friend also as long as she is a rat owner- I think I have double rexes also- they are loosing more and more of their hair every day- I am looking forward to meeting you and if you would like to bring your friend she can perhaps take her pick as well!! They are weened and separated from mom or the boys are anyway- and I do need to find homes before they get much bigger- they are very cute and very good ratties!! Let me know of the apt!! Also if you know of anyone that would like to have an huge adult male he is a pew- let me know- I have kids and he cant seem to keep his teeth out of them - he will need to be kept alone as he is mean to other ratties as well! I have never been bit just my kids so perhaps a home with no kids will be better for him-
