Note, Helen didn't breed these babies, she bought two females from a pet store and one was pregnant. So be nice to her.  Cheeky

welcome to the wonderful world of rats helen.

If you have problems placing just the one girl, I can probably help out.  I'm in north county and have 13 girls and one neutered boy.  (shhhh, don't tell hubby because I'm supposed to wait til I'm down to 10 before getting more  Ratty Smiley)

Oh you bad girl Knuckles!!!!

Hi Helen..Welcome Balloon I hope you make it to our gathering on October 4th...Suzanne make sure she gets the info.

People contact me all the time looking for rats in the area. I will keep you in mind. Please PM with your planes for these guys, incase homes aren't found. That way I can help set something up for them if need be.

Heather (in Tierrasanta) and the 31 Bratty Ratties.

Lenore...people should not have to explain themselves, more rats are brought home preggos then people breeding them...lets try to remember that...stupid pet stores not always stupid people.

I didn't mean to be rude. My point was that if certain basic information - age, location, variety, background - is provided in all adoption notices it will both be helpful to possible adopters, and prevent people from jumping to conclusions. There won't always be someone like menagerie around to head things off at the pass.

Yes, I agree people should not be attacked the way they so commonly are...but we've been saying that for how many years now? And it hasn't changed.

I went to see the babies today, they are so friendly and very healthy. There's one black hooded girl and 6 boys; 2 PEWs, 2 silvered black Berkshires, a black hooded and a fawn Berkshire. It was all I could do to not come home with any especially the little fawn guy.

Here's the little girl

« Reply #8 on: September 11, 2003, 02:28:36 PM »

Hi there!
I got the girl yesterday! She is very tame, extremely curious and is bringing me a lot of joy already.
I took a look at the boys...they are sooo handsome! Not neutered yet, but soon (as I recall).
Bye, Liza
