Hi, I'm looking for 2-3 rats. I'd prefer males but females would be okay too. I'm in the San Antonio area and I can travel or meet someone halfway.

Welcome to the forum!
Here's a great breeder and link to rescues in Texa, as well.

Ah yes, but breeding is not going so swell at the moment... I had hoped to have 3 litters right now and nothing is happening *sigh*...

If you contact me though I'll gladly put you on the "wait" list.. but don't fret, we're ALL waiting! LOL!

Heh- Houston and San Antonio need some breeders! (Well, no, there's no need for more irresponsible breeders, but.. Blue Dumbo Big Eyes You know what I mean. We have no resources, really..)

I know that someone was looking for a home for a lil' guy in Houston (Cage included) a page back- http://www.goosemoose.com/rfc/index.php?board=5;action=display;threadid=11139

Annnd...in Austin... http://www.goosemoose.com/rfc/index.php?board=5;action=display;threadid=10968

I don't know if they've found homes yet. I know they're rescues, but.. *shrug*  :

Well, I have contacted several nearby breeders and none have replied *sigh* so that's why I decided to try the rescue route. Eh, we'll see. Something will no doubt come along when I least expect it.

I have some female ratties, that need homes. But I am in OKC. Let me know if you are interested. There is also a lady in GA that is willing to drive to Dallas to drop off some babies that she has. Let me know if you are interested in any of these.

Hi!  There are several places in Texas to get some very sweet babies.  I have adorable boys and girls that I have gotten from Marie at Warm Fuzzies (http://warmfuzziesrattery.tripod.com/home.htm) in Dallas area, and Gwynne at Lone Star Rats of North Texas (http://lonestarrats.homestead.com/) also in the Dallas area.  My babies from both are very sweet rats, both girls and boys, are very well socialized and beautiful babies!  Marie has babies available now.  Good luck in your search.
