My four girls had an unexpected visitor last month (one of the boys got out, and they broke down the door for him!) and are now having litters. Most likely, all the babies will be black, and although they're only two days old, there seem to be some interesting patterns (blazed/capped/one perfect hood).
I'm going to keep any that don't find homes, but I'd like to place as many as humanly possible with new people, since I want to keep fewer than 20 rats total, and I already have 10. Please contact me if you're interested! rhinecat@hotmail.com

Tracy, this is your blazed male! Sorry the picture is crap!

This is the agouti with a weird two-lobed head spot/blaze

This is the capped black one and the agouti blazed one

This is one of my keepers, Locke, with his T, for thief, I mean, treasure hunter!

This is a girl with a lightning bolt on her head.

George's Litter:
1 f 3 m pink-eyed champagne/beige hoodeds
1 f black berk
1 f dark hooded with broken stripe (will probably have scar on face from mom bite)
1 f black vari-hooded with tiny headspot
1 f hooded with blaze
2 f hooded with headspots
1 f black hooded with crooked wedge on nose

Most of the dark ones are black, but some look very light brown, like cocoa.

The one with the crooked blaze is in the middle left.

This is the one with a crooked wedge.

This is one of the pink-eyed hoodeds. That line's not a shadow on his back, it's the light/dark line.

These are Wonder Woman's babies in a pile.. you can see the wedged one at the top left, the crooked-blazed girl at the bottom middle, and Locke with his T on the right. George, Jr. AKA Dubya, is the black berk girl in the middle. She looks just like George, whose litter is below! The only baby not in this pic is the other agouti berk, Biggs, who was investigating a box at the time.

The horrid furry white thing in the foreground is a rabbit-fur cat toy (ecch, but the cats love them) that the moms stole off my floor. You can see the vari-hood, the berk, and some of the hoodeds. Their mom, George, is the nose to the left, and Hawkgirl, the only girl NOT to get pregnant, is on the right.

You know you want them! Aren't they cute??

God, I love that chubby agouti girl. <3 I didn't realize she had a blaze. She's so cute.

*swoon*

As for cage pickup time, I'm not sure.. Wink Must see when cousins are free. I can't drive long distances yet until I get a better car so I'm at the will of my cousins. Let me know when you need it for sure.

No specific time, but sooner is usually better, esp. with the babies growing so fast... Arrgh they're big! And silly!

The first picture, the baby on the far left, under the agouti wedge blazed.. male or female? Lips Sealed *hopes for a female so she doesn't feel obligated to adopt*

Sigh.. it's a female. The boys are mostly agouti in this litter, except the masked baby I'm keeping and his capped brother, who has been "dibs-ed" by MoLuCass. The babies at the top and bottom right are boys not claimed. Goober and George both have boys, though! Pics of Goober's boys to come tonight/tomorrow.

This is a boy with a bizarre light triangle on his head on a black background.

This is a blurry group photo. These guys are more wiggly than WW's litter!

Another blurry group shot.

Yup, a boy. His name is SNK right now, and he's one of the nicest boys in either litter.

This is a recent picture of one of the pink-eyed hoodeds from George's litter:

And this is a picture of the boy I think fathered these litters:

You can't see much of him (he's shy) but this is his color, which is probably what color the pink-eyed babies are. If anyone knows what color this is, let me know. He's also an odd-eye, one pink, one dk. ruby. The big white blob is Eminem, my favorite PEW, and a camera afficionado.

I don't know, the babies look bluish, but the father is really brown, with a lavender tint.

I found out, he's a lilac.

Tracy wants 2 or 3, a girl from school wants 2 or 3, and a girl at work would like some, though that's up in the air right now. So, in short.. too many still need homes! I'll still have more than 20 babies even if everyone who wants some takes some.  Sad
