Was there life before rats?

The surgery is done and Scabbers seems to be doing well.  Still a little groggy, but seems to be acting like herself.  Now if I can make it through the healing process without calling the vet every two minutes I will be okay.  Thanks everyone for the advice and the links they are a great help.

Thank you so much.  She is feeling so good she actually broke out of her cage earlier.  That means she is normal.  I should have named her Houdini.

So happy she is doing well, surgery is always stressful on ALL of us.
