I Was A Rattie Mommy For 9 Years...

« on: September 24, 2003, 06:58:49 PM »

I washed all the hammocks today and switched some around. I gave Dax the nice fleece one from Rattie World 'O Comfort, I gave the others a playhouse (a round hammock with mesh on top so they can sleep IN it or ON it) well, poor Odin couldn't squish his big bum in the hole! It took some work! I was laughing, (I'm a mean mom) but I couldn't help it! He's finally in it now and the thing is really sagging. It's too funny! Anyone else have this problem!? I am gonna die laughing! Yellow Cute Laugh

My Lela is a big , fat lazy slug. She's so fat she has trouble fitting through the hole in the tissue box so her sister, Frizzywig took pity on her and inlarged the hole for her. It's so funny!

Was it a rat I saw?

When my little girl Tessa was around, she had an amazingly fat rear for a rat her size. I had made them a house out of an old carton and cut a window at ratty eye-level, about the size of a fifty-cent piece. Tessa decided it was a door, and tried to crawl in. she got everything through but her hind legs and tail. Seeing her little legs kicking around, I thought I would bust a gut! Yellow Cute Laugh Fortunately for her, she was no dummy, and realized that the only way to get out was to back out.
Being the softy that I am, I then enlarged the hole for her.

Gadget is working on it.  He's a year old and always seems to have food in his hands.  He's not an overly large rat in length, but he's almost as wide as he is long when he lies down.  I like to tease him about his triple chins and chubby belly when I pick him up,   Yellow Cute Laugh
