a couple of weeks ago teller had a small abscess in the middle of his forehead. i stabbed it with a sterile needle, squeezed the goo, cleaned it up good, neosporined it lather rinse repeat. it healed up just fine. no more lump.
now boomer who was neutered four weeks ago has a lump in his groin that i think is an abscess even though the vet keeps being wishy washy (inflamed fat she says). i've been compressing it to no avail. if it doesn't shrink by friday she's going to aspirate it. maybe i'm wrong. but it wasn't there and then it was, and i kind of think she's making this inflamed fat bit up out of nowhere.
yesterday i noticed aaron's got two lumps on his left side. his fur is so thick and luxurious that i can't really see if there are any scabs in there or not. you just try compressing him. hahahaha. i want to take him to work and shave the area so i can at least see what's going on. see if i can get it to open and drain. yurgh. anybody want to volunteer to help me shave the rat?
honestly. will they ever stop?
