I know this seem silly, but how to you say "agouti"? I can't find it in the dictionary or in the glossary of any of my rat books. Is it a-gow(like cow)-tee or a-goo(like boo)-tee?

I've always pronounced it a-gow-ti but everyone else seems to pronounce it the other way.  Maybe it's me lack of culture . . .  Blue Dumbo Big Eyes

And I pronounce the other pour eh fin, but at the moment, I'm not even sure how that's supposed to be spelled so, meh.

I always say a-got-tee, but I pronounce just about everything wrong. I'd be afraid to talk to anyone from here in person...I'd say everything wrong, lol

I used to breed agouti rabbits... it's A-Goo-tee.  And if it's not, every rabbit breeder and judge I've met has said it wrong.   Wink

And I'm glad I've been saying porphryn right! lol...
