MICE! --> Many black and PEW females. 3 Black males and 1 PEW male. (born
approx. 7/01-10/01)
Completely healthy lab strains.
Females are living in groups of 8 but can be broken into smaller groups.
Easy to handle and a joy to watch.
RATS:
NOODLES THIRD LITTER --> Gave birth to 11 males and 4 females on 4/3/02! -
Probably all Himilayan.*ALL VERY SWEET AND WELL SOCIALIZED, CLEARED BY VET.
*2 males - up for adoption but being treated for sniffles/allergies - still
cleared by veterinarian
*5 males - available!!
*2 females - available!
1 SISTER - THIS IS NOODLES PREVIOUS BABY - ALL ARE SWEET AND CUDDLY
Born approx. 2/1/02 and 2/15/02
*Lilac - younger female Himi - Still available!! SHe is cuddly and adorable,
lovey and wants to be with you all the time! Gets along well with all the
other girls in her cage, she is the motherly type and wants to make sure
they are all taken care of!
- MARTINI - (4/1/02) Cream berk female - fiesty and inquisitive, shes always
following around the big rat girls to see what they are doing! She is a
sweetie and comes when you call her.
- ASTI (4/1/02) Silver fawn? berk female - the troublemaker of the group -
always the one in the midst of the explorations, or the rat pile in the
hammock. Runs around the cage when she is excited and loves to play with
your hand.
-MIDORI (~3/1/02) Silvered black berk female - an absolute cuddle bug! This
girl bruxes and eye boggles when you talk to her, she is that sweet! Shes
laid back and prefers sleeping to running around the cage.
- MALIBU (~3/1/02) Cream mismarked bareback female - Always the first to the
door, this girl is trouble! Shes always on the go, looking for a way she can
convince you that she needs out!! Cages are optional for this girl - she
prefers your should!
- AMARETTO (~3/1/02) - Cream hooded female with almost complete stripe -
more reserved than her hooded sisters, Amaretto is always looking to cuddle
up in the nests. She is sweet and very food motivated - a yogie is the key
to her heart! She is also a big bruxer, when she is comfy in her bed you can
watch her eyes boggle!
- CORONA (~3/1/02) - Cream hooded female with a stripe that ends before her
tail. Corona is mischevious and loves to play with the babies in the cage!
Shes shy and coy- she waits for you to bribe her with yogies before she
comes out and showers you with rattie kisses!
- 5 FEMALE ALBINO SISTERS - the Pleiades- rescued by their mom -
unfortunately, their current owner doesnt have the time that each of these
girls deserves, so Kim's Ark will be helping out and taking 5 of the girls
on and adopt them out into loving homes where they can be adored and
worshipped like the goddesses they are!! More info when they come into the
rescue!
RESCUED LAB RATS --> (born 7/1/01
-MANDY - 1 Female PEW - Has had a very hard life and is being
rehabilitated. She was scared in the lab and got
accustomed to biting to be left alone - as a result she wasnt handled much.
But she is coming around and
will take treats from people. She's a sweet girl but very misunderstood and
looking for the right owner to
give her love. Only availabel to a VERY special home . UPDATE her foster
mom reports that mandy is making leaps and bounds- she allows herself to be
pet and doesnt try to nip when fed! SOon this girl will be ready to go home
and get love
- 2 male PEWs - Each living alone. Were cagemates, but after a brief spat
they were separated as their cage
was not big enough to accomodate both of them. They are very large, smushy
boys that need love! Possibly
being neutered.
*** - 2 male brown norway lab rats - appear to be silvered blacks. Sweet and
cuddly, original adopters could no longer keep them due to personal medical
problems. Will have more info on them soon!
MORE LAB RATS! --> Many lab male and female rats in NJ - all PEWs -
*****young babies that were an accidental litter in a lab - are sweet and
adorably little fiesty babies, looking for the perfect home!
