20 Rats!

« on: December 08, 2003, 09:45:47 PM »

We have cuties available to good homes.  We have momma's pedigree.  She's from Ratty Rascals Rattery.  Pappa is our own.  He's almost two and still wonderfully healthy, never had ANY sicknesses, no signs of tumors, myco, etc.
Anyway, a picture is worth a thousand words, so here we go:

These babies are available in Olympia, WA to loving good homes.  Only SOME are available, so email if you'd like more info.  GOOD hi-res pics are available upon request, but beware they are about 1 meg in size.

Thanks,

-Ray

Momma is from RRR, pappa our own.  If you want more info, I can forward directly.
Pearl isn't really pearl, although she's a wonderfully light blue.  Her grandpa was silver, and she is our little pearl.

Oh, Emily,
By the way, momma is a beautiful merle.  I don't know how to know if a baby is going to be merle or not, but when we bought momma, they told us she was a merle, and when her final coat came in, it was REALLY obvious.  If you want pics of her, I'll post them.

If Pearl is still available I would be interested in trying to work out adopting her.  If you have pics of her mum that would be great Smiley  If you e-mail me at eagleseye_rattery@yahoo.com that would be wonderful.  You could also IM me when I'm online.

They are all so beautiful!

Emily,
Thanks for your interest, but Pearl has already been spoken for, but I wanted to include all the babies' pictures so everyone could see them.  There's nothing more adorable than baby rats, huh?

Not a big deal at all!  I had no idea how I was going to quarentine her (Unless I kept her in Portland), and would have had no one to quarentine her with unless I took home one of her sisters too!  LOL  Like I said...  if I was able to work it out!  She's adorable though!  I'm a huge sucker for blues and only have one blue girl right now Smiley

Take care,

Thanks for the compliments.  We think they're the best, of course, and it will be so hard to see them go, but my mom says we shouldn't keep that many because we couldn't give them all the attention they deserve, and I suppose she's right.  But it sure is hard, especially when they're so little and adorable!

I know what you mean...  if I could I'd keep all the babies out of my current litter of 13 babies...  many of them are masked and all are dumbo!  There's blues and rexes also...  Too cute!!

We still have a few ratties that haven't been spoken for that we're looking for good families.  They're five weeks today, so we're just now getting ready to send them home for Christmas - we've made a stocking for each of them, but we left off their names so you could change them if you want!

Sorry, Hannah, that Pearl and Buckette are no longer available.  Of course, the blues are always the most popular.  I personally love the black selfs, as we call them, the "bear cubs."
The berkshires are adorable, too, though - although what can I say, EVERY baby rat is adorable!

Somehow we didn't get the pictures of these two posted, but they are two females that look just like the male named Flash Gordon, black with white bellies and feet, berkshires, and one black self female.
If you are interested, what a great Christmas present to yourself!  We'd be glad to get together with you if your husband could just fall in love, too.
Wishing you the best!

Oops, I goofed.  We do have pictures of the girls that are still available on this post, I just didn't remember that.  We still have Hi-Sides, Buckette, and Salt and Pepper available.  I'll tell you a little about each of them, too, since I had to correct the last message.

Buckette is a sweety, the black self, and we call her that just because we've always called daddy Big Buck, and she's the sweetest of the babies, just like daddy.

Hi-Sides is a black berkshire, and we named her that because even before her eyes were open, she was out maneuvering like a little tank around the cage, and as soon as she could see, she was climbing everything like a trapeze artist, never stopping or staying a moment to stay on the ground except when momma was feeding her.

Salt and Pepper we now call Peppy because she's like a super speeder, and she's our acro-rat.  She's the most agile, graceful bouncy girl we've got, and she just loves to go, go, go.

Of course, we love them all, and they just crack up watching the little girls speed around like snowflakes in the wind.  They'd sure make a nice Christmas present to any rat lover.
Hope you have a great Christmas, and thanks for asking about them no matter what, because I just love to think about new descriptions for them

If someone is still looking for a blue baby, we might be willing to work out a switch with another of the people that want a black self, so let us know if you are interested, and we'll see what we can do to help make that special Christmas present!
