A pint of Guiness cures anything

Hi, as a few of you know, yesterday my dad was taken to the Hospital, he's been in a light drug induced coma since he got there...
ANYWAY-while I was gone, my husband was home with my three wonderful children (read INSANE PSYCHOS) and of course, when daddy is home-ANYTHING GOES!! Party
When I got home, I (Of course) needed a little cuddling and grooming from Hermione, so I took her out of her cage and put her on my shoulder. I then looked into her cage-the entire packet of Yogies was in there, Strawberry, I believe. I have no idea how much she ate, I have no idea which of the wee cherubs did it, but I don't know if that's so very good for her little belly!
She seems ok, her poops are fine, and she doesn't have that "I am drunk on yogies" look-I woke up early this morning to check on her-(Mama worry wart) Worry
I have hidden all of her treats from the kids.
She'll be ok-right?
(I also explained to my husband in no uncertain terms that yogies are NOT rat food!!!! (He thinks I'm insane...)

Rat rescuer!

I think she should be but I'd keep an eye on her. I suppose it's just like me eating too much chocolate (as if I would!), so I would presume that she probably just wants to sleep it off and not eat anything else all day.

Weird, and proud of it!

She should be okay.  I'd have expected to see runny poos by now if she was going to, rats have very fast metabolisms.  Just keep an eye, she'll probably have a sugar crash (if she hasn't already) and then she'll recover nicely.

My rats would sometimes find yogie containers and eat the whole thing in one sitting. Never had any problems, but I did switch to putting the yogies out of those platic containers and in glass jars Grin
