I have rescued 2 three month old hooded boys from a store who changed their sales technique from 'great pet' to 'feed your boa'.
I can not keep them. i have girks and do not cage my rats. In a new environment they are very timid.
Could you please post this for me?
I will take photos tonight and will send them...where?
They are timid.
In the store they were ok with being held.
But it is taking a few days to adjust to the new environment.
I am lettling them adjust in their own time, leaving the cage on the
counter with the doors open if they want to come out. But they are
currentley wary of being pick up.
They really need someone who can give them the attention they need, and wont force themselves on the boys.
I am also desperate to adopt them out soon as the hormones and
fermones are causing behaviour changes in the boys and Frustrating my
little girl who can't get to them.
They are wonderful little personalities.
Jack likes me loves sniffing me and being stroked while hes sleeping.
And Little Brother is wary of me not being a rat and that if I pick
him up we might walk away from his brother, but he is slowly coming
around since finding that my little she is alive and heathy and actually enjoys my company.
They must be adopted together.
They adore each other and without Jack our Little Brother would be very frightened.
