There is a page (end of page 79 and page 80) dedicated to a rat named "Kitty" in the new biography of Kurt Cobain of Nirvana written by Charles R. Cross.  The exert comes out of Kurt's journal.  It starts out about how he fed the orphan rat since birth and tells about the horrible accident that later happens and how bad he felt.  If you guys have the stomach, it is quite descriptive.  I have been haunted by the demise of poor "Kitty" ever since I read it, but did not know Kurt Cobain was a rat person.  I will not write it here as it may be too much for some of you.  Those of you who are interested, check it out at the book store on page 79 and 80).
