Mr. Higgins 695 arrived!  We got it put together and he's busy exploring, hee hee, he doesn't know about ramps!  I also went into the dollar store looking for needlepoint fabric and found something even better!!  Plastic placemats 2 for $1!  They are big and almost like thin plexiglass, I have cut them to fit and Mr. H. has all kinds of bright coloured fruit and food on his flooring - I'm thrilled with them Grin
Now he needs some toys!!!!

Oh, Higgins, you lucky rat! Just don't eat all the fruits & veggies on the mats. Stick with the real thing. Wink

I don't even know Mr. Higgins and I love him!

He's one lucky boy! Isn't it fun to watch them discover everything? Smiley

My favorite cage liners are the thin kids-needlepoint plastic mesh... I have 1/2''x1/2'' wire for levels in Lo and Metri's cages and a previous experiance with a broken rattie paw (ouchies!) taught me that liners are a HUGE importance! I've found a local place that'll sell me 2'x1' sections of the stuff for 50c !

Louise, I bet you were thrilled to finally get the cage! Mr. Higgins sounds like he's having a ball exploring and sniffing around...YAY for you both! Grin
