Rat Lover!

« on: May 31, 2002, 12:21:07 AM »

Well unfortunatley two of my babies died while I was away. They started crawling and three managed to fall out of the cage, but lucking my fiancee rescued one. It's sad so I move the babies to a new set up, even though me dad absolutily hates rats he bought me a complete set up for the babies one day. I'm moving my babies over to my house in a week or two, don't worry even though they aren't at my house they get attention food and water everyday, even though my fiancee gets bit in the proccess. (Riblet the mom doesn't like him reaching into the cage to change stuff to much). I have found three homes for three of the babies and I'm taking one so only six need homes. I think two are males and the rest females, one of these day I'm going to get some people to help me sort out which are which. I really like one of the males but I don't know if I'll keep him. How long do you have to wait till you get males nutered?  He is quite adventurous. He is one of the three rats that fell out. He is fine now, except his fur looking kind of mangled. My moma rat, Riblet, is very hyper now that she had the babies so I'm going to take her outside one of these days to run around. I found a rat in a pet store today tthat looked like a siamese cat, is this the kind of rat refered to as siamese? Well that's my update for you all. Any suggestions on baby names? I have 10 babies and only one is named.
