I have 12 mice available for adoption. There are 6 boys and 6 girls. The boys are about 4 weeks old, and the girls are 3 weeks old. The boys were rescued from an overstocked feeder tank at a wildlife center, and the girls were born in a mop bucket by a mouse who had escaped from the feeder tank. Shocked 2 They are a beautiful assortment of colors: brindle, tan, PEW, black with tan underside, and sable with tan underside(I don't know the mouse term for this). Please contact me if you are looking for mice! See pics below.
thanks,
kim wo.

UPDATE: There are only the 6 boys left. They are getting even cuter and very round!! Transport will be available to PA and anywhere along the way from MA this friday, July 23rd. The boys are doing very well in small groups, no fighting. Please let me know if you are interested, I can send some updated pictures.

Oh my, what gorgeous babies. Are the boys getting along so far? Kim's transporting, so does that mean they can be brought down to NYC area? My house has been rather unstinky since last of my boy mice passed so maybe...

Okay I'm interested.  Where in MA are you located?  What city?  I love the little black boy curled up on top of the brown one.  And the brindles are just gorgeous.  I'm such a sucker for those little teenie fur balls.  I never had mice before.  It would be neat.   Ratty Smiley

Hi ratgrl-

I am located in Ashland MA (between boston and worcester). I would be willing to drive these guys almost anywhere in MA. Please let me know which ones you are interested in and maybe we can work something out next week! The one boy not pictured is a PEW, and the girls are 2 darker brindles, 2 tan, 1 mostly tan brindle and black with lighter abdomen.

thanks,

kim.

I am not sure if Kim's Ark has transports scheduled for that far, I doubt it but I can check. I am not asking anything for the mice, I just want them to go to good homes as pets only(no breeding please).
thanks, kimmmwo.

Tell me about it! *dies of cuteness* I'd take the remaining 3 girls if you could somehow get them to Canada, too!  Undecided

We have two girls, and I just built them a HUGE cage... they really are dwarfed in it.

I've got a spare 10-gallon/Martin's topper combo sitting around...could take a few meecers if someone could get them as close as NW Ohio or anywhere in Michigan.  It's a long shot, but thought I'd offer.  Love the little chocolate boy in the first and second pictures!

Just an update:  I still have 4 boys left that are looking for new homes. They can go in singles or in pairs. Transport is still available to MA, CT, RI, and NH.

I can't take any due to recent viral infections in our area and I myself am in quarantine now, but we should be in the clear in a few weeks (either 2-3 weeks if I get my rats tested, or 6 weeks if I decide to do full quarantine anyways). If there are no takers for the boys by that time, I'd most likely be interested. I'll let you know as I find out more.

Here's the update on my situation. I had to decide not to test my rats because one of my fosters developed a tumor and the money needs to be spent there instead. It's been about 5 weeks since I got the last rats whom I suspect *might* have brought in something, so it leaves me about 3-4 more weeks until I can be out of quarantine (I think 8 weeks is the norm, I have to double check that tho). After that, I'll be able to take the boys if transport can be arranged to NYC (or I can meet you somewhere outside of the city too if needed.) How many boys are left, which colors, and are they still getting along with each other? I LOVE male mice, even if they stink to high heavens, and miss having my stinky boys around Grin

I still have 4 boys left, living in pairs. I separated them into pairs because the cages that I have are not very big. They mostly get along, but every once in a while I hear some squeals from both cages. There has never been any bloodshed, and they seem content to cuddle up together most of the time. In one cage I have the black boy with a tan belly, and the brown/sable boy with a tan belly. The other cage has the brindle boy and a tan boy.  I would be glad to meet you somewhere outside the city whenever you are out of quarantine. Keep me updated and good luck with all of your rats!

Just an update: Babyblue is not able to take any of my stinky boys, so 3-4 are still left. They are happily living in separate cages:

Peregrine: A very LARGE brindle boy who is beginning to look like a hamster...

Kestrel: A brown/sable boy with a lighter underside.

Merlin: A black boy with a tan underside.

There is also Cooper, a tan mouse who is diabetic. I am getting some vet advise for him, but I am not sure that he will be up for adoption if his disease can not be managed.  Undecided

Please email or PM me with questions!
