Rats and Other Pets

I've been fascinated with the thread about bringing a dog into a rat-lover's household... and it made me curious about what other critters share our rats' lives, and how they get along.

My Corgi, Riley, is EXTREMELY curious about the raffins... he wants to be close to their cage all the time, and has tried to give them tongue-baths.  

My two cats, being on the rodent-extirpation patrol outside, see them more as "yet another of Chris's little quirks" and enjoy watching them in the cage, though I harbor no illusions about what would happen if the cage wasn't there.

Of course, Trickster and Pippin seem fascinated by the other furries who share their home... they like to get as close to them as possible, sniffing, investigating.  Maybe one day I'll let them meet Riley... or not.  But it's nice to have a house full of critters, nonetheless.
