I am trying to find a home for my beautiful two month old rattie, Elliot. Elliot is grayish brown on his head and bak and white else where. He has big doe like eyes that make him irresistible.
He is still a bit shy- he'll come out of his cage for food and will explore and climb on me, but he does not like to be held very much. I believe he can be trained to overcome this with time. he also likes to crawl under blankets and my pants legs and come right up to my face, if i'm lying down. He's such a sweet heart
I hate to let go of him. THe reason that i'm giving him away is because of an unfortunate mistake made by the pet store. My sister bought the first rat in our household, Ginger. several weeks later i decided i wanted a rat and that it would be good for Ginger to have company. Not doing the research ahead of time, I asked for a female weaned rat. One week later, I discovered that Elliot was a male rat when its testicles dropped and had to separate the two. We cannot get two mre rats, and i feel bad that they have to be isolated.
The pet store also gave him to me with a respiratory infection, which has been treated. He is doing well now.
Elliot needs a good home with other male rats and an owner to love him.
please email me if you are interested. I may possibly make the drive to other nearby counties.
