Well I went into my local pet shop for bedding for my guys and came home with ten Hairless babies about 8 weeks old.Nine females and one male that has been in with the girls since they came in.There are four more males, maybe older still there I didn't get to see. Will be going back on payday to check them out. These are very sweet little ones.Really tame and seem to be very healthy and happy. Were going to be sold as feeders. I will probably keep a couple, but would like to get good homes for the rest.I will post some pics as soon as I clean the tank they came here in.It's gross. Going to do that post haste, poor little things. Then gotta do some figuring where to put them,as I sure didn't plan on my Rat family expanding this much today, lol!

I surely hope that all the females aren't pregnant.  I can't imagine the population explosion.  Perhaps a bunch of 'emergency spays'Huh

Thank goodness I came by plane out here to Ford City to visit family or I'd be in yet more mortal danger of adopting!  They sure are sweet things - good luck with placement!

Hmmm, less than an hour huh?Just think if you come towards me,and I come towards you,it would be even less. Cheeky

I am going to show my DH the pictures later.  He's not very fond of hairless animals.  I'd love one~rat, Chinese Crested, Sphinx (and I don't care for cats!!).

I'm going to Ratapalooza later today...

I hope they have ratties for adoption like the flier said....
I hope they DON'T have ratties for adoption like the flier said...

ACK!  What is one to do?  My lonely boys NEEDS a friend!

My husband did say "Don't buy TWO many".  I'm thinking he meant "THREE or MORE many" is better!  Ratty Smiley

I love hairless rats and Sphynx kitties! I can't believe they were earmarked for snake food!   ::)I would have ended up with as many as I could house If I'd seen that here.

I just got two black hairless girls from Fl., a self and a berk and I think they're great. I'd love to give one of your girls a home since I too suffer from GGMR! Just not a good idea right now.

I'm going to be driving from Greensboro, NC to Buffalo the second week in September and will be going right past Mercer so if any of the babies need transportation to a new home along that route. I'll also see if anyone around here might be interested. Maybe the friend that will be taking my girls that week will fall madly in love and want one for herself.  Grin

Glad they don't seem to be Prego's!

Two of the girls adoptions fell thru' so are still looking for a good home.Thankfully none were pregnant.

I hate living in Maine.  Sad I guess it is too cold for hairless ratties up here.
