I don't get it, My rats all of a sudden want to ONLY be with me, always be with me. Torpedo's friend just died and she's stopped eating.
Her friend was Slayer, a 3 year old mouse. None of my rats would go near it, only Topedo, and he resently had to be put down. Torpedo isn't handling it very  well, she's looking for him, waiting. He had a tumor in his neck and I had to put him down. Now all my Ratties are just clingy. But torpedo has to get injected with food/water ect. everyday now, She just wont touch the food. The other two, are really cuddly with her. Torpedo had been with SlaYER HER WHOLE LIFE, AND NOW i JUST DON'T know what to do. Any ideas, If i dont bring him back, I dont think Torpedo will forgive me.   Cry
Any ideas? Please help out...

P.S sorry bout the Cap locks. :p

Sometimes rats will stop eating due to extreme grief.  Usually, they begin to eat again after a day or two.  There is a shot (somebody help me out with the name of the medicine?) that a vet can administer to "jump-start" their eating.  It takes them a while to deal with losing a member of their family, just like it does for us.  Give Torpedo a little more time.  Try not to stress too much because they could be picking some of it up from you being upset.  It will get better.

Bach's Rescue Rememdy is supposed to be excellent for helping with grief. You might want to give that a try.
