4 Spayed Females in San Diego *will transport* PICS ADDED
«

I currently have 7 spayed Females available for adoption in San Diego, but don't let the location stop you I can transport into AZ and NV. These girls are currently in foster care so I don't have pictures just yet but will have some soon.
These girls came from a shelter and were slated to be PTS so I stepped up and took them in since Wee Companions is full as are the other Southern California Rat rescues. All girls were potentially pregnant so I paid to have each of them spayed out of my pocket. So adoption fee is $40 per rat, that is just the cost of the spay.
The momma rat is only about 5 months at the max and a very sweet black capped with a head spot. Her best friend, about 4 months old max, is a very cute Mink, I'm not sure if she an Irish or a Berk though.
These are also 5 young girls maybe 2 1/2 months old. They are all black berks, veri berks and 2 black selfs. The 5 girls are currently pretty scared of life right now. With the love from their foster family they'll come around quickly.
So if you have been wanting to add a few spayed (please keep in mind the benefits of spaying and you wont find a vet to do it under $40) girls to your mix please let me know. I hope to have pictures up by the beginning of next week.
I can be PMed or you can e-mail me directly at
adventurerats@sbcglobal.net
Please keep in mind that you will be required to fill out an adoption application and I MUST have your vets info. No rats will go to homes that do not have a rat vet all ready.

I sent some pics of the girls to AR today,,,, cause every time I put pics up they seem to disapear. So I will let her do it.
The black girls are very sweet.... but very skittish and scared and very quick and slippery...lol. I am working with them and little by little they are starting to come to trust me.... they are alll so cute. They just need someone to take them home and love them and give them the security the really need.
The mamma ( the black capped) and the mink? are just as sweet as can be.. and verrrry energetic. and are totally bonded to each other.

Yep I got the pics and will get them uploaded and posted right away. The Momma and the Mink girl will ONLY be placed together. With Beth adopting 3 girls that means the the other 2 black girls will also ONLY go together.

I may take the two "older" girl instead of three black girls. I'm still debating and hopefully can meet up with Diana this weekend and figure it out.

The black girls are really funny. When I was feeding them while Adventure Rats was away a couple of weeks ago one of the girls kept tugging at my pants when I was feeding the other cages. She kept saying "Hey look at me, it's all about me you know." "Hey food lady, we're hungry in here."

Knuckles, I just sent you a PM!! YAY, I'm glad these 3 will go to you. You may want to tell Dianna right away as the 2 older girls were just split from the younger ones to make it easier on Dianna for socialiaztion. I'll call her now and ask her to put the black veriberk in with her Mom and her Mom's best friend!

Please SOMEONE hit me - hard, right on top of my head.
I'm thinking about it...
I really want boys though.
I really want to have Lila Kuh integrated with the three girls.
I don't have enough - I don't even know of what.
Hit me NOW, please!
I'm
just
thinking about it though...

*won't hit liza on the head*
You should go by and see them. My poor Bruce is all alone now and I'm even thinking of going ahead and keeping 2 of the girls to be his friends. I need a reality check

But with spayed girls, you could get boys and have them live with the girls.

The four girls in the last 4 pics are still available.
They are starting to come along nicely.. they now come up to me when I open the cage and sniff me and will now take food from my hand. One girl is still a bit nervous and they are allll full of a TON of energy. But I think that with lots of love and attention these girls will come completely around and make a nice addition to someones home. They are all very bonded and need to at least go two at a time but a place that could take all four would be optimal. They are all so cute.
"Oh,,, and they really did get spoiled for Thanksgiving. They got a nice Turkey, rice and squash mix and on Friday every one here got a nice HUGE Turkey bone to knaw on (These things were bigger than the rats...lol.)"

It is almost the New Year here... and these beautiful little girls still need a loving forever home.
They are coming around nicely in their socialization.... but I think they should go to an experienced Ratty owner. They are about 4 or 5 months old now 2 black selfs and 2 mismarked black berks. They need to go all together as they are extremly bonded now.
It would be nice if we could find a nice forever home for them for New Years.
