If so, my housemates will remain behind, but they are not rattie experts.  My backup has fallen through.  I hope not, but if so, I can't take pets along to the sandbox.    I can offer a rattielover/expert a 2 yo merle berk affectionate female with her cage and food (or to join other ratties), and vet info.  Just checking out if anyone here is interested before I default to housemates in case I have to leave in two days.

how long will you be gone for?  If you are really concerned about leaving her w/your housemates, and cant find anyone else to take her, let me know, I suppose I could take her, even if its just temporary.  From your post I assume she is all by herself? Has she ever been with other rats?

Hi.  I still didn't find out today, but may find out in a few hours.  I feel bad for her because yes, she used to live with other rats.  She even raised a wonderful family once.  She has only been alone a few weeks, and has adjusted and is spending more time with me.  I know she will be kept well enough by my housemates but certainly she will be lonely after losing both her family and myself.  She is very nice with other rats, at least her family that she lived with, and calm at this point.  She is 2.  She was stressed after the last rattie was gone but has recovered nicely.

If you are interested, I can leave word with my housemates if there is no time to do deliveries myself.  It would be nice if she lived out her old age not this solitary.  I would be very grateful, but understand if no.    She is merle and white.

I wish I was closer, I could babysit. But being on LI isnt quite close enough.

If you are mobilized, godspeed and come home safe.
