I have 100 mg Doxycycline pills, and I forgot the vet's recipe on how many pills to use per batch, and what to mix it with.  Anyone know?

When I had to use the doxy pills I mixed one pill (100mg) with four MLs (CC's) water, mixed it very well and dosed everyone (0.1 for small/regular rats, 0.2 for larger rats). Everytime you use that same batch, mix it up really well.

Shouldn't that be 0.1 and 0.2?

I mix mine with Nestle Quick Strawberry syrup instead of water.

Remember to toss it out......mixing it this way is only good for 24 hours, as per instructed by both my vet, the exotics specialist and the pharmacist that made me an elixir once.   I have no idea about anything else other than what I was told.

My vet also said mixing Doxy tablets was unstable and to never use the mixture more than 3 days.
