Hi everyone,
I just joined today.  My name's Katie and I live in Ontario, Canada.

I got to hold a rat for the first time ever today!!  IT was a male hooded. I'm not to sure of the colour, it looked sort of creamy or apricot looking.  He was a bit scared at first but started to calm down after a while.  The manager of the store knew so much about rats which is good.  I also got to pet female but she was pregnant and he didn't want her to be handled much, she was so sweet.

I just had to post that  Grin
It was so cool!

Anyway, talk to everyone later
Katie

They are awesome wee critters, eh?  Smiley  So does this mean you will be getting some ratties in the very near future?

Isn't it great to be introduced to the wonderful world of rats!!!  You'll never want to leave.  These little ones are addictive!

It's true, these lil creatures are addicting. I stayed up till 1 in the morning just looking at my rats. Just fascinating to me. The hours fly by!

I agree with Gary, I can spend hours watching my rats - even if they're just sleeping......!

I will definetly be getting some rats in the near future. My mom used to hate rats but she petted the one I had out and she said it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be.

I'm sure if my mom held just one rat she'd fall in love with them too...hopefully I can persuade her to let me get a couple  Wink
