The Babies are 6 days old now.  I have been trying to take photos of them growing since their birth.  I Missed day #5.
It took a bit of time to work out a routine, and we finally have it down to an art.
Mama comes out to play, and I gather her and Auntie Sabrina up and put them in a separate tank.
Then the Babies can come out and get photographed.
Page seems to be doing a VERY good job.  If she's not out paying with Antie Sabrina, she's inside taking care of her munchkins.

Anyhow, I made them their own Photobucket page, and I am creating a new album for each day.

Below is a comparison picture.  Slightly modified.

Seeing them so teeny weeny, it's Hard to believe the girls in the bunch can get pregnant in about a month!  Ugh!  LoL
They are starting to get a bit of peach-fuzz growing.  So cute!  My little Butter-Balls!  Smiley

I'm happy to see the litter growing up well!  Their looking like a bunch of PEWs and Himis at this point, but you may end up with a surprise or two.

Have you tried sexing?

My girls that I had nearly given up hope on have suddenly rebounded, and my vet and I have decided to try some new things, so I don't know if I will have room for any now.  But, if you have an extra girl or two... (I have 10 up here, so a single adoption won't be lonely).

1, 2, 3, take as many as you want. LoL
I know they will go to a good home.  Smiley
You can have your pick of the litter. Smiley

And no, I have not tried sexing yet.
I'm thinking about taking a picture of each baby, and posting to see if someone can tell me which one is which! LOL
It would be nice to know how many of each I have.  LoL

I recommend posting some pictures, there are a lot of experienced sexers on this board.  Just change the topic title to show that you could use some help sexing!

I'm thinking I should be able to find rides for the rats at Thanksgiving, so they will be 7 weeks old.  This is IF and only IF I decide I can take on some more.  I don't know.  I am still looking around for possible owners up here, but you seem to be having good luck down there so far.

Can you possibly find a way to get some down to Soldotna?  Theirs another board member down there who is trying to find rats right now, but doesn't have the ability to transport them herself.  Her parent's don't find the rats worth the drive, and she doesn't know any other way.  I'm sure she will be a great owner, she has had rats in the past.  That would be a good 4.5 hour drive for you, but maybe you know someone who is willing to do part of it?

Looks like I have some COLOR in the bunch!
Very light, but it's there!!!  I tried to take some photos, but they didn't come out all that great!
You can still see the color, although the flash really washed it out!!!

BTW:  I did post a photo of each Baby's "parts".  Hoping someone will be able to tell me the gender of each one...

I see the color!  Is it just the one?  I assume its your keeper...  (if not, I may have to snatch when you aren't looking...)

My himi I've had since a baby (the other two were rescues at 12 and 20 months old) had a stripe up the back like that.  Does that baby have a hood at all?  I don't know much about colors, for quite obvious reasons.

Exciting!

Oh, and you can change the title of your thread by editing it in the first post, so others know there are new pics.

If you do know of anyone willing to do part, my dad might be able to take me part way also as long as I help with gas money, so I will start saving now just in case. I will also ask family members and friends if they could drive.

Anyways... I call dibs on some color! Wink I am really hoping there's a few himi girls because I would love to have one himi and one PEW.
