what do your ratties like to play with?

My naughty rats like anything they're NOT supposed to have!    They like to eat my sofa, the cupboards in the bathroom, and the remote control for the t.v.!  

They like to shred empty toilet paper tubes, or to play with a tissue box with a few tissues in it.  Sometimes they play with some wooden bird toys, but mostly just to chew on them

Tortellini, Cous Cous and Beans are all obsessed with string. They love to chase it around and run with it in their mouths. Parchisi is naughty and she goes for the bedsheets and basically anything she's not supposed to chew or touch. Hobnob likes fingers, if you rub her head she'll go insane and jump around allover the place, running as far away from you as possible, and then speeding back at you to get rubbed again until she falls over and wrestles with your fingers.

My rats don't seem to play with anything except me.When they are in thier cage they are sleeping..of course they are out ALOT.When out they spend thier time exploring,climbing and lots of chewing.They climb on me alot and groom me alot also,we play chase and they like to hand wrestle.I put up an old sock with treats in it hanging from the top of the cage last nite and thought they would have some fun with it while i was asleep last nite,They never even touched it,my girls are strange.

My ratties love to play with my hair. They eat it!   I now have to make sure it is in a high bun on my head while they are shoulder riding as I don't have that much hair to begin with. They really love to play with eachother the most. They also love their sissle rope I bought them. They love to climb on it and chew it. THey have papertowell rolls to chew and a cat toy with a little bell in it that they love to bat around because it makes noise. Then of course there is the cat treat toy which you hide treats in and when they bat it they fall out. I think this is their favorite toy besides me, hehe. Oh and how could I forget the excercise wheel. They absoluetly love it!

My guys really like the wading pond in their play area, especially when they're hot! I only let them play in it when I'm there to supervise - just in case anything (I can't imagine what) happens.

I can imagine what! This morning I woke up at 6:30 to see that the girls had somehow detatched their little pool from the side of the cage and had pushed it down the ramp and there was quite a mess waiting for me to clean up... not a fun thing to do so early..   Never underestimate the strength of a rat!

My rats aren't really into toys but they love to climb all over me and my boyfriend. We are their main distraction. Mocha likes to play hide and seek with me, though. She is obsessed with getting under the covers. She has no less than five covers: three to go on top of the sofa as protection against tinkles (there are three of these because they're all very holy from, well, rats)and two to go on top as "home base" (I curl up under one of these top covers). Mocha HAS to get under the the blankets that cover the sofa. It's not enough that she already has two covers to crawl around underneath. No sir, she HAS to find her way to the actual s-o-f-a. When she does this, I let her crawl around for awhile and then go fish her out. I give her lots of pets and kisses when I find her (which is probably why she keeps doing this) but she's just so adorable, I can't help myself. You should see her determination when I change the direction of the blankets and her holes get all turned around. Boy, there's no stopping her then!

i've been looking for toys for them too, but they don't seem to like anything really. they used to enjoy chasing balls if i tied it to a string, but they don't do that anymore

alice likes to play the "can you get my tail, i bet you can't" game when i'm cleaning her tail, but if i try to wrestle with them in the cage they look at me as if i'm insane and go and hide

although charlie sometimes likes to play chase with me where i chase him and then he chases me and then we change each other

other than that we just mostly snuggle and they do the reattie playing with each other ....

Me! They climb around in my hair and groom it, run up my pant legs, and basically swarm all over me. If I jump from one end of the bed to the other, they'll follow me around. Oh, and they also love paper, especially Anya. She'll take a piece of paper, drag it back to the cage, and bunch it all up into a little ball. One time she took my math review sheet and deposited it in the bathroom corner of the cage. I guess she hates math as much as I do

My girls hate everything, but 2 months ago I got some wooden chews called "Fruity Bites" They are shaped like fruit, but come in other shapes. I think they must be scented, because they love them.

My rats also love paper towels, and plastic pipe sections.
