Hi everybody!I am going to be getting two female rats on Thursday and  will be getting my cage on Tuesday, from martin's cages. I ordered the r-680 and I was wondering if you think that will be a big enough cage for them? Also if you have any information about rats or anything, for a new rat owner, it would be great! Thanks.

a 680 is great for 2 girlies...
Hopefully you got the powdercoated?  If not the galvanized metal starts to stink pretty fast when the pee soaks in.  If you didn't you should be able to call/email Martin's.  they are great people to work with!

When you get your cage, I suggest putting it together with zip ties.  Not everyone does this but I found it much easier and easier to fix if I made a mistake.

Yeah I was one of those stupid people that ordered my cage galvanized.. not knowing the true future effects of soaked pee and stink, hehe.

But yeah, that cage will definitely fit your 2 girls comfortably!
