Hi, I adopted a rat from Petco.  He was found in the back and therefore was not socialized at all.  I took him in because I figured it was unlikely that anybody else would be willing to give him a home.  I've had him for about a month now and although he's improved, I just don't think I can give him the time he needs to become friendly.  He is an agouti hooded.  He tries to nip me every once in awhile, but I pull my finger away before he can.  He will at least let me feed and water him and get a few pets in now.  Before, the second I walked in the room he would run and hide in his igloo.  There will be a small adoption fee, but I really just want him to go to a good home where he can get the attention he needs to realize that people are good.  Please email me at horsevaulting@aol.com if you're interested.  Thanks!

I've decided that I do want to have this guy go to a good home.  He is FREE to anybody willing to take him in and give him the attention he needs.  I think that once he has been socialized, he will be quite a cute lil guy.  If any rescues are interested, please send me an email as well.  I really need to find this guy a new home soon.  Thanks for taking the time to read this!
