Where should I place the hammock at in this cage?

The cage is 33" x 18" x 36", and the hammock is 18" x 14".

I'd put it at the top, on the right side, or under the shelf on the right side ...

You could put it in the MIDDLE in the top part of the cage too!

so many possibilities ...   Smiley

I'm afraid if I put it at the top they won't be able to get in it. Hmm... I'm getting ready to clean the cage, so I think I'll just try it and see.  Grin

oh don't worry... they'll find a way to get in it!  i usually put my hammies at the top... they like to be up high and they adore their hammies, so it works out!  bramble likes to climb to the top shelf, hang upside down, and monkey bar her way across to the hammie!  the rest are a bit saner, though, and will generally just climb up the side of the cage to reach their sleep spots.

I ended up putting it under the right shelf.

I don't like to encourage them to climb very high anyway. It just worries me too much. I'm terrified that they might fall and get hurt... 3 feet is a big distance for a rat. I'm considering making the second level into a full floor sometime in the future.

I'll try to take pics tomorrow. I put the Halloween hammock in already. Grin I just hope the brats don't have it chewed down by tomorrow.  Yellow Cute Laugh
